The purpose of the project the students created was to support mental well-being by creating an innovative app offering motivational support, color therapy, virtual pets, and social checks. The design team aimed to differentiate the app they created from others by making it highly customizable and incorporating features like logs and profiles for personalized experiences. Additionally, the team sought to attract attention and provide comfort by integrating these features into a teddy bear concept. Through the use of a wellness wheel and AI technology, Koda: The Cuddle Pup aimed to better understand users' mental health needs and provide tailored support.
