The Lorenzo de Zavala Youth Legislative Session is a fantastic opportunity for our students to strengthen their leadership, communication, critical-thinking, and civic engagement skills while connecting with other students across the state of New Mexico.

As GISD transitions away from Remind, ParentSquare will become our new districtwide communication platform for school and district messages. At the same time, we are transitioning from PowerSchool to Synergy, which will provide families and students access to ParentVUE and StudentVUE. To support our families during this transition, we have created a Family Information Hub that includes videos, step-by-step instructions, frequently asked questions, and additional resources.  Family Information Hub: Family Information Hub Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with these resources. We ask all employees to help direct parents and guardians to the Family Information Hub whenever questions arise. Key reminders: • ParentSquare will become GISD’s primary communication platform. • Parent and guardian accounts will be created automatically using information maintained in Synergy. • ParentVUE and StudentVUE will provide access to grades, attendance, schedules, and other important student information. • Additional training and support opportunities will continue to be offered throughout the summer. Our collective support will help ensure a smooth transition for students, families, and staff members. Mientras GISD deja de utilizar Remind, ParentSquare se convertirá en nuestra nueva plataforma distrital de comunicación escolar y comunitaria.
