Southwestern NM MESA Day

Students & sponsors listened to motivational speaker & TikTok Influencer, Jordan Toma. He spoke about how he knew what it was like to overcome difficulties learning and making it through school and finally the ability to attend college. The students loved his stories and could relate.

The day was filled with different activities connected to STEAM (Science, Teachnology, Engineering, & Mathematics) NMSU was also presenting several activities, including Young Women in Computing (YWIC). Young Women in Computing offers fun and engaging activities for students. Their primary goal is to share the creativity of computing through hands-on tasks and project-based learning.
